Clarification regarding the use of the funds to finance political subjects

Ministry of Finances has not amended the Law on Budget for the fiscal year 2011. Furthermore, there is need for explanation that whatsoever amendment of this law can be done only during regular reviews and upon the approval by the Assembly of Kosovo. Therefore, statements for the possible amendments of this law to define another fund to finance political subjects other than what is foreseen by law are groundless.

Law No. 04/L-001 for the Republic of Kosovo’s Budget, also published on the web site of the Ministry, has foreseen the planned expenditures for the Central Election Committee (CEC) for the fiscal year 2011, to finance political parties (subjects) are to be in the amount of 4,868,981 euros (Table 3.1 of the Law).

U mbajt takimi i dytë të Komisionit të Granteve

Në Ministrinë e Financave, u mbajt sot takimi i dytë i Komisionit të Granteve, ku ishin të pranishëm anëtarët e këtij komisioni.

Në këtë takim u aprovuan grantet qeveritare për financimin e komunave për vitin 2012, në kontekst të finalizimit të Kornizës Afatmesme të Shpenzimeve 2012 – 2014, duke përfshirë kriteret dhe formulat e ndarjes së granteve.

Minister of Finance, Mr. Bedri Hamza met the Head of Office of Grand Duke of Luxembourg, Mr. Pierre Weber

Minister of Finance, Mr. Bedri Hamza hosted today in a meeting the Head of Office of Grand Duke of Luxembourg, Mr. Pierre Weber.

Mr. Weber initially congratulated Minister Hamza on his appointment, expressing his personal readiness and the one of his state to continue its support to the state of Kosovo.

Minister Bedri Hamza on this occasion thanked the Government of Luxembourg for the continuous political and financial support provided to the state of Kosovo, and in particular the recent one and for their support for the Water Supply Project in Mitrovica which, according to the Minister, is highly important both for the inhabitants of Mitrovica and the Kosovo Budget.

Ministri i Financave, Bedri Hamza së bashku me zëvendëskryeministren dhe njëherit ministre e Tregtisë dhe Industrisë Mimoza Kusari dhe ministrin për Zhvillim Ekonomik, Besim Beqaj, u takuan me përfaqësuesin e Zyrës Civile Ndërkombëtare, Pieter Feith. Takimi kishte për qëllim njohjen mbi zhvillimet ekonomike dhe financiare në Kosovë si dhe krijimin e një klime edhe më të mirë për bizneset vendore dhe ato të huaja.
