Introduction

Ministry of Economy and Finance is structured in a manner to effectively operate and exercise its responsibilities under the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and legislation in force.

The Ministry’s political activity is chaired by the Minister, whereas its Civil Service is chaired by the Permanent Secretary.

Vision

The vision of the Ministry of Economy and Finance is to improve the standard of living for all the citizens that live in the Republic of Kosovo through providing a sound and stable environment for investments and sustainable financial and economic growth in the country.

Mission

The mission of the Ministry of Economy and Finance is to ensure fair, transparent, and overall financial management of public funds. It also has the key role in determining and implementing fiscal and economic policies of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.
